|2017 Master Class Proposal Form|
A Master Class is taught by a content expert who instructs on a topic of interest to the Lesbian Fiction Community and leads the class in the application of the principles provided.
These classes are designed to teach writing skills (Craft of Writing), or inform participants about information relevant to writing, publishing, or editing. The 2-hour classes are expected to include both didactic and practical components – allowing participants to also learn through practice.
These classes should be advanced enough for published authors to gain additional knowledge and expertise, while also having components that are meaningful / useful to the relatively new author.
Presenters of 2 hour Master Classes will receive a $100 honorarium.
All Master Classes are video-recorded and made available for viewing online for a fee. The cost to view is very reasonable, and the income used to help cover the costs of making, editing and hosting the videos. Presenters will be asked to sign a release/agreement that allows the GCLS to make and use the video at our discretion. Presenters retain all Intellectual Property rights related to their content.
