EM Hodge

Born in Cincinnati Ohio, EM Hodge joined the United States Navy immediately after graduation. She had been meritoriously promoted three times before being honorably discharged for being "homosexual." She worked three jobs to attend college and went on to achieve two doctorates in Philosophy and Education. In addition to becoming Professor of Philosophy, she won National Endowment of Humanities three times, the most recent in 2009 for research in Religious Systems interplay in U.S. politics.

Hodge was  triathlete and runner. She retired after a bicycle accident. Retirement has allowed her to pursue writing full-time. Undone, her debut book of poetry, won Goldie and was a Rainbow award finalist. Her current projects include a second poetry collection, a dystopian novel, and an urban fantasy trilogy.
