Lynn Ames -- Author I've been around as long as the GCLS (okay, I've been around a WHOLE lot longer, but I've been to every conference since the organization's inception). Georgia Beers -- Author I'm a romance writer with seven books, a Lammy, and a Goldie. This will be my sixth conference (holy cow!). It wouldn't be summer without the GCLS. I can't wait! Renee Bess -- Author This will be my fifth conference. I'm a former foreign language teacher, now happily ensconced in a writing career. Shawn Blackhawk -- Author Author, reader and researcher Shawn Blackhawk is looking forward to her first GCLS. Bliss -- Author I have a short story titled, “Solo Hike” in the Wild Nights Anthology, by Bella Books, and a short titled “Worth It” released at this year’s GCLS in the “Women in Uniform – Soldiers, Medics and Cops – Oh My!” anthology by Regal Crest. I’m currently working on a cross-genre romance/suspense novel, tentatively titled “Above Suspicion” which I hope to have out later this year.
Mary Ann Bosworth -- Reader I have been to two cons, Atlanta and Phoenix, but missed last years because of amnesia. Donna Brown -- Reader Been a member of the GCLS from the beginning but this will only be my 4th conference. Have made some really great friends and look forward to this event every year so that I can catch up with old friends and hopefully make a pile of new ones. The conference and the people who attend truely feel like family to me. Val Brown -- Author The GCLS is my extended family. I love meeting up with my fellow Blue Feather authors, seeing old friends and making new ones.
Nat Burns -- Author, Editor, Reader Nat Burns retired from a publishing career in Virginia to relocate to the Rio Grande Valley. She is a published author many times over and currently works as the music editor for The Lesbian News. Maria V. Ciletti is a nurse currently working as a medical administrator. She writes lesbian romance. Her new novel, Collide, will be published in June 2010 by Intaglio Publications. Her second novel, Clinical Distance, was also published by Intaglio in 2009. Her first novel, The Choice, was originally published by Haworth Press in 2007. Her debut novel, Ancestral Magic, was released in Spring of 2009 and her newest novel, Natural Order, came out May 2010. Anne Laughlin -- Author Veritas, Anne's first novel with Bold Strokes, was published in November 2009 and is shortlisted for a Goldie this year. In 2008, Anne was selected by the Lambda Literary Foundation for their Emerging Writers Retreat, and in 2009 she was admitted into the Ragdale Foundation in Lake Forest, IL for a month-long writing residency.
