Director of Membership Nomination Form

Please fill out the form below to submit your nomination for Director of Membership.

NOTE: If you are nominating someone other than yourself, you must confirm that you have spoken to the person you are nominating and that she has agreed to be nominated. Additionally, you will need to obtain and submit a Statement of Intent and Head shot/Photo of the nominee for use on the GCLS website. This information will be posted for members to review prior to submitting their votes.


Nominations are due by July 31, 2017. Voting will begin no later than August 7, 2017. Voting will close on September 1, 2017.  The elected Directors of Membership transition and training will begin in September 2017. Board terms will begin in December 2017.

The nominee will need to provide a Statement of Intent.

This is the statement to the membership indicating:

  1. Why the nominee wishes to serve as a Director of Membership.
  2. Why members should vote for the nominee?
  3. Should the nominee be elected, what does she hope to achieve during her time as a Director of Membership?

 Please write a narrative no more than 1 page in length. This will appear on the GCLS website.

 Upload Word or PDF formats only.

You must provide a head shot/photo of the nominee to let people know who she is. Members may know the nominee's face, but might not know the nominee's name.

This will be posted on the GCLS website along with the Statement of Intent for members to review prior to submitting votes.
