Presenter Application
The 2021 Goldie Awards will see the return of Presenters at our ceremony this year. We're able to take what we learned during our virtual ceremony in 2020 and apply it to our virtual ceremony in 2021. Our hope is that we'll have some
fun and the audience will get to see lots of happy, friendly faces.
We want YOU to be a part of the experience.
In the past, we have reached out to people asking if they would like to present an award. Quite frankly, that's a long, arduous process and requires a lot of emails going back-and-forth. So, we're trying something different this year. Rather than
sending out a bunch of emails asking if you'd like to be a presenter, we want you to tell us.
Here are things to know:
- Filling out the application is NOT a guarantee that you will be a presenter.
- This is a pilot. If it goes well, we'll use it again. If it doesn't go well, we'll either tweak it or drop it.
- You may indicate which category you do NOT want to present, but we will ultimately assign the categories.
- If selected, you'll receive the list of nominees for your assigned category so that you can practice pronouncing names.
- If selected, you'll be matched up with other presenters in your category (if applicable). You and your fellow presenters are welcome to get together before the ceremony and work things out.
- If selected, you will NOT know the winners ahead of time. Rather than opening an envelope, you'll see the winner revealed on your screen.
Like last year, we will have a Technical Rehearsal. There will be at least two (2) dates/times offered. If none of the offered dates/times work with your schedule, you will need to watch a recording of the rehearsal so you know how things will work on July 31.
If you have any questions, please send them to Awards@goldencrown.org BEFORE filling out this form.
DEADLINE - APRIL 15
