Welcome to the GCLS Membership page, a place where you will find lots of information on things like why being a GCLS member is so fun and beneficial, insights from other members, GCLS board members, business members, and whatever else we find that is valuable and shareable with you. Take a look around and be sure to connect with us if you have any questions. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll find it for you! We’re here to help and make your time with us worth your while.
Your Directors of Membership,
We value our members and wouldn’t be the GCLS without you. Members have access to many benefits.
Each month we hear from a member on topics such as writing, reading, publishing, and more!
We interviewed GCLS authors and got down to the nitty gritty of why they love their craft.
Check out our current and archived newsletters. If you have an idea for a member story, let us know!
Who We Are
Hello friends! We're happy you stopped by, and hope you are finding everything you need. We are your friendly Directors of Membership, and we are here to make things easy and enjoyable for you. So please send us an email if you need our help. We wanted to take a moment and thank our members for voting us in to serve you with the GCLS. It's an honor and a privilege to be a part of this great community of readers, writers, publishers, and partners who love lesbian-themed literature. Cheers!
Suzie Carr - Hi there! I have a fun role. I get to put together the monthly Membership Insights newsletter, answer your questions via the contact form, make a video here and there, and work on the marketing team. I also have way too much fun at the annual conference where you might find me dancing - a LOT.
KC Luck - Hello everyone! I am new to the Director of Membership role and excited to be here. I love all the new responsibilities and am up to the challenge. Find me at the conferences and events, don’t be shy, I want to meet you all and answer any questions.
Maria Rahming - Hello Everyone. As your Director of Membership, I am so excited to be able to assist members both veteran and new by approving memberships, answering questions, and providing lots of hugs virtually and in person. Although I love to dance like Suzie, some may classify my style as interpretive or just "questionable."
